QUESTION
I begin to write with a slip
of white paper
still by yellow
light screening thoughts of darkness
I can hear
them bumping and tapping
aimlessly
eager to touch my longing
sail into my stare
The mood has passed
and I wonder could it ever be a poem
or
does it miss
by the thinness
of a moth’s wing
